Data. DVF (Demandes de valeurs foncières), the French tax administration's register of property sales, from the Etalab “Statistiques DVF” monthly series on data.gouv.fr (sales January 2021 – December 2025). Each yearly figure is the sales-weighted average of the monthly mean price per m², i.e. the average across all sales of that type in the year. These are averages, not medians, so a few very large or unusual sales can pull small areas up or down.
Coverage. The 20 arrondissements of Paris plus the 129 other communes of the Métropole du Grand Paris (all of Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne, plus Argenteuil and six Essonne communes near Orly). Saint-Denis includes Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, which merged into it on 1 January 2025; earlier years combine both. Areas with fewer than 20 sales of the selected type that year are hatched.
